Sixteens have just returned back from their marathon tour of Europe and the UK, and Sixteens' Louise Gas aka Kristo Ball offered some reflections on the tour. This was their third tour of Europe, a big production that took the duo clear across the continent, often driving 10 hours at a time from one show to the next. Says Kristo...
"There're are no real expectations you can have that understand the life you're living and how it will take shape+ My personal fortunes have been short on monies and not on others. As the story goes,,, I am in a long chain of events that promotes some kind of new existence and I tend to witness this being contagious with particular people; ones I have met or have only affected.

"I can't say certain stories about certain countries, per se, as it seems to have a general affect.
"Do you want me to discuss my emotions about Italy this time? or Spain?? or Poland??
"I believe we have a following that is not only about us. It's about the situation of experience and therefore I don't feel the right to exploit friends in the means to keep other people who don't know us yet, in some kind of loop......though i wish they were there! We drove long and hard roads for too many hours without a driver other than us. That is Veuve and I. If you sit in the passenger's seat, you are driving, too. Navigating is the same thing as eyes get strained. Brains grow weary. And THEN, you have to shovel the shit down tons of stairs...or up. Usually down.
"People like to comment on how much stuff we have... They are delighted that we "don't" have a drumset... They know nothing... It's the same ol' same ol'. Then "sound engineers" have a hard time for the most part because they don't believe in what they do.... The ones that do!! KUDOS!!

"Oh, so back to actual pasts: London was very good....Spain was excellent.....Italy great.....France Perfect....... Germany fantastic.... Poland superb....... what do you neeeeeeed?
I've got the Glasgow smile : )"
