More Saros videos on youtube

July 6, 2008 saw Saros playing the Tidalwave Fest in San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, evidence of the show appeared on youtube. Probably the best video comes courtesy of Capital Chaos out of Sacramento. (see below)

And, if you're outside the Bay Area and are curious as to what the new Saros sounds like, have a gander at the band performing "Acrid Plains," the title track of their new album due out on Profound Lore in 2009 here at the Hemlock in August.

Saros signs to Profound Lore Records

We are happy to announce that San Francisco's Saros has signed with Profound Lore Records. They've finished recording their new album, "Acrid Plains" with Billy Anderson at the helm. This will be the follow up to their 2006 album on Hungry Eye "Five Pointed Tongue" and will appear on Profound Lore as on of its first releases of 2009. More details can be found
